Top-10 Marks Fall on First Day of Bison Open & Multi, Penn State National Invite
Competition is just underway at the Bison Open & Multi and the Penn State National Invitational, but already Bucknell track and field is making its presence felt at both meets. Tom Barr set two more program top-10 marks in the shot put and weight throw, while Leonard Joseph and the women's distance medley relay also inked new marks in the record books as well. Both meets will conclude tomorrow with action at Gerhard Fieldhouse set for a 9:30 a.m. start. Competition at Penn State's Ashenfelter track begins at 10 a.m.1/27/2012
Bucknell Wrestling Earns First Road Win of Year, 27-9 at George Mason
The Bucknell wrestling team dropped the first two bouts of Friday evening's dual at George Mason, but it bounced back to claim seven of the final eight bouts to post a 27-9 victory over the Patriots, snapping a six-match losing streak. Alex Pellicciotti, Stephen McPeek and Tyler Lyster register bonus-point victories for the Bison, who improved to 3-11 on the year and earned their first road victory.1/27/2012
