Bucknell Student-Athlete Call-Athon to Begin This Evening
Beginning this evening, Bucknell student-athletes and their coaches will be making phone calls to their supporters and alumni base as part of the department's annual Bison Club calling program. If you have already made a gift to the Bison Club or a particular varsity sports program this fiscal year (July 1, 2009-June 30, 2010) you will receive a thank you call from a student-athlete. The athletes and coaches are extremely appreciative of the gifts they receive to their program each year, and the calling program affords them an opportunity to reach out and say thank you in a very personal way.2/8/2010
Kevin LeValley Named Damon's Bison Athlete of the Week
Three days after tying the Bucknell single-season record for wins, Bison junior wrestler Kevin LeValley was named Damon's Bison Athlete of the Week on Monday. LeValley improved his season record to 33-5 with a 17-0 technical fall victory at Lock Haven on Friday.

Bucknell Women's Basketball Takes 61-46 Loss to Navy
Bucknell women's basketball fell victim to some stellar shooting from Navy, leading to a 61-46 loss at Sojka Pavilion on Saturday night. Navy (12-11, 4-4) shot 12-for-21 (57.1 percent) from 3-point range to drop Bucknell's record to 7-14 overall and 3-5 in the Patriot League.

Navy Edges Bucknell, 81-79
Blizzard conditions outside Alumni Hall limited the crowd to only a few hundred loyal fans, but inside the arena Bucknell and Navy were red-hot for long stretches of time, and in the end the Midshipmen pulled out their second two-point win over the Bison this season, 81-79. Romeo Garcia scored 20 points and O.J. Avworo had 17 points and 10 assists for Navy, while G.W. Boon and Bryson Johnson led five Bucknell players in double figures with 16 points apiece.
