Fafa Tsikata joined the Bucknell athletic training staff in the summer of 2013 and works with the Bison women's soccer and baseball programs. A 2010 graduate of Lock Haven University, Tsikata was an outreach athletic trainer with ATI Physical Therapy in Newark, Del. She was responsible for the athletic training needs for two local high schools and logged a minimum of 15 hours per week within the clinic.
Tsikata's first post-graduate job was as a certified athletic trainer at Savannah State University. She spent a year in that role and worked closely with the school's football, women's basketball and baseball programs.
During her undergraduate days, Tsikata worked with Lock Haven's wrestling, volleyball, indoor track & field and football teams. She also spent time as an athletic trainer at Williamsport Area High School and performing physical therapy at Tiadaghton Health Services.
