MALVERN, Pa. -- D.J. Magee carded a 1-over-par 72 on Tuesday as part of a 307 team score, and the Bucknell men's golf team finished in a four-way tie for ninth place out of 21 teams at the Wildcat Invitational. Magee, Daniel Levin and J.P. Raftery all totaled 151 for 36 holes and tied for 25th place individually. 

Bucknell opened with a 298 on Monday and entered the final round in second place, but slipped down to a tie for ninth along Detroit, Fordham and Colgate with a 605 total. Cleveland State closed with a 291 for a 593 composite, good for a six-stroke victory over Lehigh. First-round leader Wagner finished third at 600, followed on a crowded leaderboard by Villanova (601), Binghamton (601), La Salle (601), Delaware (602) and St. John's (604). 

Magee made four birdies in his final round, two on each side. He was even on the front, with back-to-back birdies on holes 6 and 7. He closed with a birdie on the par-4 18th to finish with a 1-over 72. 

Raftery was coming off a career-best, 1-under 70 in the first round, but a tough back nine led to an 81 on Tuesday. Levin closed with a 78 after an opening-round 73, and Jubal Early shot his second straight 76. 

Kyle Wambold of Binghamton earned medalist honors at with a 1-over 143 total. He finished two strokes in front of Andrew MacMillan of host Villanova. 

Bucknell is back in action Apr. 3-4 at the Lafayette Invitational at Silver Creek Country Club.
