ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Bucknell men's golf squad posted a pair of 75s and two 76s for a 302 total in the second and final round of the Navy Spring Invitational on Sunday. The Bison finished in sixth place with a 599 composite, and they will be right back at the USNA Golf Course next weekend for the 2016 Patriot League Championship.

Freshman Jubal Early and junior John Edler carded the 4-over-par 75s for the Bison, while freshman Connor O'Brien and sophomore Daniel Levin had the 76s. Freshman J.P. Raftery closed with an 80 after leading the team with a 72 in Saturday's opening round. 

Levin was the low Bison over 36 holes, finishing T-15th at 149 (73-76). 

Host Navy tallied 285 in both rounds for a 2-over-par total of 570. The Midshipmen won the team title by eight strokes over Methodist, which entered the day tied with Navy for the lead. St. John's (580), Wagner (590) and Colgate (596) rounded out the top five. Bucknell finished ahead of Saint Francis (601), Emory (608), Navy B (610) and Lafayette (612).

Thomas Fricke of Navy compiled a 2-under 140 (70-70) to edge Emory's Connor Yakubov by one shot. They were the only players in the field to finish in red numbers, while three others came in at even-par.

The Patriot League Championship will be contested next Saturday and Sunday at the USNA GC. The teams will play 36 holes on the first day followed by 18 on Sunday.
