ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Bucknell women's golf team chopped four strokes off its first-round score and moved up two places in the standings, finishing in ninth place out of 16 teams at the Navy Fall Invitational on Sunday. After posting a 325 in its season debut on Saturday, the Bison followed it up with a 321, backed by a pair of 79s from Emily Larson and Katie Childers.

That Bison duo also shared team-low honors in round one with a couple of 80s, and Larson and Childers both finished in a tie for 25th place individually at 159 total.

Freshman Anna Dailey was the team's No. 3 player on Sunday with an 80, three shots better than her collegiate debut a day earlier. Lindsay Dodovich and Eunbbie Kim both finished with 83s.

Harvard went wire-to-wire for the team title. The Crimson totaled 615 over 36 holes, good for a six-shot win over runner-up Towson. Penn was third at 623, followed by Sacred Heart (626) and Navy (630).

Among the four Patriot League teams in the field, Bucknell's final-round 321 was one shot behind Navy's 320 and ahead of Lehigh (325) and Holy Cross (357).

The Bison will host their annual fall invitational next Saturday and Sunday at the Bucknell Golf Club.
