PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Bucknell men’s tennis returned to action on Saturday, dropping its match on the road to Duquesne, 7-0. The loss came to a Dukes team that has won four of its past six matches.
Senior Bryan Adams pushed his opponent to three sets at No. 5 singles before falling to Jared Isaacs.
“I am scratching my head here trying to figure out what is going wrong with this team,” Bucknell head coach Bruce Myers said. “In practice we look like the strongest team on the east coast. In a match we are playing tight with zero confidence. We have two full weeks before our next match. I have a lot to think about as a head coach.
Duquesne improved to 4-6 overall.
Bucknell (2-10) will not play again until it begins its spring break trip to California with matches against San Diego Mesa and Cypress on Saturday, March 11.
