BOSTON, Mass. – The Bucknell men’s track and field team earned All-East honors in two events Sunday on the final day of the IC4A Indoor Championships at Boston University. Overall, the Bison earned All-East recognition in four events.

After earning All-East honors in the long jump on Saturday, Will Carter received his second All-East medal in the 200-meter. He took fourth in the race with a time of 21.52.

In the finals of the 4x8 relay, the team of Kyle Adams, Jordan Jackson, Sean Conway and Scott Gulizio earned All-East accolades, taking fifth with a time of 7:34.03, a top-10 program performance.

As a team, the Bison finished tied for 12th among 43 schools with 20 points.

“We did leave a few points out there, but overall it was a pretty nice meet for us,” said head coach Kevin Donner. “Carter had a great indoor season considering he took three years off from track and field due to football commitments. To finish with two All-East medals is quite an honor for him. Our 4x8 ran very solid to finish fifth but was impressed with Conway and Gulizio splitting 1:52 and 1:50, respectively, at the third and fourth legs.

Bucknell opens its outdoor season Mar. 25 at the Jim Taylor Invitational.
