ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Led by an individual title in the 100 back by Emma Hadley on Saturday and top-three finishes by Rachel Perry and Julianna  Foss on Sunday, the Bucknell women’s swimming and diving team closed the season on a high note with a runner-up finish at the ECAC Championships at Navy’s Lejeune Hall.

The Patriot League took the top two spots in the team standings as Navy won with 632.5 points and Bucknell was second with 452. Penn (434), Virginia (348.5), and Columbia (346) rounded out the top five spots in the 19-team field.

Perry had the best finish on the final day for the Bison, taking second in the 100 free. It was a great swim for the senior to go out on as her time of 50.88 was the third-fastest in program history.

Two other Bucknell swimmers had top-five finishes on Sunday. Julianna Foss took third in the 200 fly, while Hadley was fifth in the 200 back.

Bucknell set a new program top-10 time while taking third in the 400 free relay. Perry, Paige Daniel, Rachel McGoff, and Caroline Orem clocked in at 3:27.77, good enough for ninth on the school’s all-time list.
