HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- Connor O'Brien posted rounds of 74 and 75 to put himself in top-20 position, and the Bucknell men's golf team is tied for ninth place in a field of 17 teams after 36 holes of play at the Mission Inn Spectacular, hosted by George Mason. The Bison logged team scores of 308 and 306, and they are tied with Air Force and Presbyterian at 614 total.

O'Brien is tied for 16th place individually.  He made two birdies and four bogeys en route to a 2-over-par 74 in his morning round. O'Brien's afternoon round was a bit more volatile with two bogeys and two doubles, but he also eagled the par-5 first hole, birdied the par-5 10th, and had 12 pars for a 3-over 75. 

D.J. Magee matched O'Brien's 74 in round one but slipped to an 83 on the second 18. Peter Bradbeer did the opposite, shooring 83-75. Jubal Early carded 77-78, and Ashton Radvansky shot 84-78. 

TCU has the team lead with a 584 total (301-283). Marquette is 10 strokes back at 594, followed by George Mason (595), Ohio (598), Florida Atlantic (603) and Elon (603). 

Christian Cichan of George Washington has the individual lead at 3-under 141 (71-70). Stefano Mazzoli of TCU (74-68) and Peyton White of Ohio (72-70) are tied for second. 

The third and final round is slated for Sunday, starting with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start.
