WORCESTER, Mass. -- After sweeping a doubleheader at Holy Cross on Saturday, the Bucknell baseball team's momentum was halted by the weather as Sunday's series finale was cancelled due to sub-freezing temperatures and the threat of freezing rain.

The Bison return to action on Wednesday with a single game at Patriot League rival Navy at 3 p.m. At 9-7 in league play, third-place Bucknell entered the day Sunday one game behind second-place Navy (10-6) in the standings. The Midshipmen are slated to host Lehigh on Sunday before the Bison visit Annapolis.

Bucknell has won five straight and seven of its last eight Patriot League games, including Saturday's 6-0 and 2-1 victories over Holy Cross.
