Scarsdale High School: Three-year letterwinner in football … served as team captain as a senior and was an all-league pick as a junior … selected to play in the Section 1 All-Star Game … honored on the All-Section 1 First Team as one of top 35 players in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Rockland Counties … named to the Westchester Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame “Golden Dozen,” which is awarded every year to the county’s top 12 scholar-athletes … awarded the David Buchanan Trophy, given annually to the Scarsdale football player who combines the best performance on the field with the best performance academically … as a senior, made 60 tackles, 11 for a loss, and rushed for 700 yards and five touchdowns … helped Scarsdale reach the section finals for the first time in school history during junior season … the Raiders also advanced to the section semifinals his sophomore year and section quarterfinals his senior campaign … was also a three-year letterwinner in track & field and one-year letterwinner in golf.
