BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- On a chilly, breezy late-October day at Saucon Valley Country Club, freshman John Edler (76) and senior Schuyler Stitzer (78) posted top-10 scores for the Bucknell men's golf team at the frost-delayed Lehigh Invitational. The Bison compiled a 328 team score and are in sixth place.

Edler's 4-over-par 76 puts him in a tie for fifth at the midway point of the tournament. Jonathan Renza of Rutgers opened with a 72 and leads by two over teammate Doug Walters. The Scarlet Knights have the team lead after posting a 305. Host Lehigh is second, eight shots back.

Stitzer is tied for seventh place after his 78. Billy Wright shot 82 and Zachary Melnick 92 for the Bison, who lost Zach Pogust to a mid-round injury and had to count all four of their scores.

The second round will get underway Monday at 10:30 a.m.
