KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- Kasha Scott, Emily Timmons and Lauren Bernard all posted scores in the 70s in the final round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Monday, and Bucknell logged a 317 team score in its final round of the fall season. That total was the team's best of the 54-hole event, and the Bison finished in 19th place against a very strong field that featured four top-50 teams.

Before beginning the third round, the teams first had to finish up round two, which was suspended due to darkness on Sunday evening. Bernard played a starring role in that round, finishing with a 3-over-par 75, her best round of the season. Bridget Wilcox was 2-over when play was halted with five holes to go, and she finished with a 79.

In the third round, Scott matched her season best with a 77, while Bernard and Timmons both shot 78. Wilcox finished with an 84, and Ellie McGuire shot 87.

Kansas held on to win the tournament by three shots over Georgia State, which led the field with a 283 in round three. Melissa Silver of Georgia State finished with a 5-under 67 and won the individual title by two shots over Jessiga Haigwood of GRU Augusta and Laura Fuenfstueck of College of Charleston.
