KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- The Bison women's golf team shot 342 on Monday and moved down three spots into 34th place after round two of the Kiawah Island Classic. Bucknell opened with a 338 on the Oak Point Course on Sunday, and then on Monday the Bison went over to Cougar Point, which is the longer of the two courses.

Lauren Bernard's 83 was the team's best round of the day. Kasha Scott and Emily Timmons both shot 86. Bridget Wilcox posted an 87 and Ellie McGuire carded a 102. 

Kent State, listed 37th in the latest GolfWeek rankings, shot 302 at Oak Point on Monday to take over the team lead with a 594 total. High Point is second at 599, followed by Jacksonville State (601), St. John's (602) and Penn State (603). The Bison remain ahead of Richmond and Niagara. 

Sammie Buchanan of UNC Greensboro posted an even-par 72 in the second round and is 2-under for the torunament. She has a two-shot lead over Anna Kim of St. John's with 18 holes still to play.

The top 19 teams in the field made the cut for the championship flight and will play at Cougar Point in Tuesday's final round. The Bison will be back at Oak Point for their final 18 holes. Live stats are available at
