MALVERN, Pa. -- With three rounds in the 70s on Tuesday, the Bucknell men's golf team recorded a team score of 310 and finished in 16th place at the Wildcat Invitational at White Manor Country Club. D.J. Magee posted a team-best 75, Nick Geissler shot 76 and John Edler finished with a 79.

Magee (79-76-75) and Edler (79-77-79) both turned in three rounds in the 70s in the 54-hole event. Magee's team-best 230 total put him in a tie for 31st place. Also for Bucknell in the final round, Billy Wright carded an 80 and Zachary Melnick shot 82. 

Columbia and Army both posted 284 team scores in the final round, and the Lions edged the Black Knights by just one stroke for the team title. Columbia totaled 892 for the week, followed by Army at 893, Binghamton at 896 and 356-hole leader Youngstown State with 897. 

Buoyed by a second-round 68, Christopher Crawford of Drexel finished 1-under par for the tournament and won the individual title by four shots over Army's Peter Kim. 

Bucknell will be back in action next Sunday and Monday at the Lafayette Invitational.
