LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bucknell senior Maddy Molinari earned her third Corvias Patriot League Midfielder of the Week Award of the 2017 season on Monday, after she played a key role in a thrilling 12-11 win over Colgate at Graham Field over the weekend.

Molinari was all over the field, recording three goals, two assists, nine draw controls, four caused turnovers and three ground balls. After the Raiders unleashed five straight goals to tie the game at 11-11 49 seconds remaining, Molinari won her biggest draw control of the day to give the Bison a final possession. They cashed in moments later, when Morgan Steinhacker scored the winning goal with 23 seconds left in the game.

The victory was critical for Bucknell. Not only did it snap a 14-game series losing streak to Colgate, but at 4-2 in the Patriot League (9-4 overall), the Bison moved into a tie for fourth place in the standings with three games to play.

Molinari continues to climb Bucknell's season and career statistical leaderboards. Her 69 draw controls on the season are second-most in the Patriot League and third-most in a season in Bucknell history. Her 107 career draw controls now rank eighth in Bucknell history.

Molinari also ranks seventh in assists (43) and eighth in goals (109) and points (152) in team history. Her 33 goals this season lead the team and rank 10th in the Patriot League.

Bucknell has a big week coming up, with road games Wednesday at first-place Loyola and Saturday at second-place Navy.
