About Bucknell
-- The Bison have won three straight games and have clinched a winning season for the second year in a row. Now 9-4 overall and 4-2 in the Patriot League, Bucknell enters Wednesday's game at Loyola in a tie for fourth place in the Patriot League standings alongside Lehigh. The Bison are two games behind first-place Loyola, one game in back of Navy and Lafayette, and one ahead of Boston University with three games remaining in the regular season.

-- The Bison are close to clinching a Patriot League Tournament berth for the second year in a row. The top six teams qualify for the postseason tourney. The Bison have a three-game lead with victories in hand over Colgate, Holy Cross and American, who are all 1-5. Bucknell can secure a tournament spot with one more win, or other results around the league that would prevent a convoluted multi-team tie.

-- Bucknell's current three-game winning streak consists of close decisions over Holy Cross (11-8), American (9-8) and Colgate (12-11). Last week's win over the Raiders was a thriller. The Bison were seemingly in complete control, leading 11-6 late in the contest. But the Raiders scored five straight goals in the last 6:48, the last an unfortunate own-goal 49 seconds remaining in regulation that tied it at 11-11. But the Bison won the draw, and freshman Morgan Steinhacker made a nifty 1-on-1 move to score the game-winner with 23 seconds to go. The win snapped a 14-game series losing streak to Colgate.

-- Junior midfielder Mary Margaret Kenney entered the Colgate game with three goals on the season and 12 in her career, but she exploded for five goals against the Raiders. Fellow middie Maddy Molinari also had a big day with three goals, two assists, nine draw controls, four caused turnovers and three ground balls. Molinari was named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week for the third time this season.

-- Bucknell has been excellent on the draw this season, but it will have its work cut out this week. The Bison are averaging 12.5 draw controls per game and have won 57.6 percent of their draws on the season. Molinari's 69 draw controls are tied for second-most in the Patriot League along with Navy's Jenna Collins, and they both trail Loyola's Taylor VanThof with a whopping 120, second-most in the nation on a per-game basis (8.6).

-- The Bison are 5-1 on the road this season, including 3-0 in Patriot League play (Army West Point, Holy Cross, American).

-- Audrey Walsh has eight multi-goal games in her breakout sophomore season. She leads the team in points with 42, and her 24 goals and 18 assists each are second on the squad.

-- Molinari holds a .550 shooting percentage on her team-high 33 goals scored, and her 69 draw controls now rank her third all-time in a single season. Molinari now sits eighth in program history with 107 career draw controls. She also ranks eighth on Bucknell's career goals list (109), seventh in assists (43), and eighth in total points (152).

-- Offensively, Bucknell ranks second in the Patriot League with a .456 shooting percentage. The team's 10.38 goals per game ranks seventh. The defense has allowed opponents to score just 9.77 goals per game, the lowest rate in the league.

-- Christina Manis is tied for second in the Patriot League in assists with 31. That is the fourth-highest single-season total in team history, and Manis is now the first Bison ever to record two 30-assist seasons. Already the Bucknell career assists leader with 90, Manis is five assists away from tying Carol Donohue for most assists in a single season.

-- Annie Gilbertson leads the Patriot League with 27 caused turnovers.

-- Lucia Smircich recorded her 100th career ground ball in the Colgate game, and she now ranks ninth in school history with 101 GBs.

-- Senior Courtney Burke is having a strong final season. She entered 2017 with four career goals but now has 11 this season. Same goes for Becca Golding, who logged two goals and an assist off the bench against Colgate. Golding has four goals and three assists this year after entering the campaign with three career points.

-- Jamie DeWitt leads all Patriot League goalies with a 9.73 goals-against average.

Scouting Loyola
-- Loyola enters with a 6-0 mark in the Patriot League. The Greyhounds haven’t dropped a Patriot League contest (31-0) since joining the conference in 2014.

-- After starting the season 0-6 against a diffcult schedule, the Greyhounds have won seven of their last eight contests.

-- Loyola’s .448 shooting percentage ranks second in the Patriot League.

-- The Greyhounds have two players who have tallied more than 50 points each. Hannah Powers, the 2016 Patriot League Rookie of the Year, leads the team with 21 assists and has scored 31 goals, while Cami Whiteford has a team-high 39 goals and has tallied 12 assists.

-- VanThof’s single-game draw control highs of 21 vs. Colgate and 20 at American are tops in the NCAA this year.

Series History with Loyola
-- Loyola has won all 12 meetings between these two teams, dating back to 1982.

-- This will be the fourth consecutive season that these two teams meet.

-- Last year, the Greyhounds won 13-7. Bucknell had scored three of the first four goals of the game, but Loyola utilized a seven-goal stretch between the first and second halves to take the lead and secure the win. Eve Lukowski and Molinari each scored two goals.

Scouting Navy
-- Navy has earned 10 wins on the season and holds a 5-1 conference record. It opened with a 13-9 loss to Loyola but won its next five Patriot League contests.

-- The Midshipmen utilize a high-octane offense, averaging 15.5 goals per game. They have surpassed 20 goals in a game four times this season and have not scored less than nine goals in a single game.

-- Navy owns many different offensive options, with six different players scoring at least 20 goals. Jenna Collins leads the squad with 43 goals and 20 assists.

Series History with Navy
-- Navy has won all nine meetings between these two teams, who have met every year since 2008.

-- Last season, Navy squeaked out an 11-10 win over the Bison. The Bison entered halftime with the 6-4 lead, but Navy came out of the locker room and took a 10-7 lead. Bucknell brought the deficit down to one goal, but could not score in the final 10 minutes to tie it up.

-- Molinari scored three goals in that contest, and Manis contributed two assists. The Bison caused 14 turnovers on the day.

Up Next
-- Bucknell will end its regular season schedule when it hosts Lehigh on Friday, April 28 at 6 p.m. Senior Day will be held, with the senior class being honored before the game.
