LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell freshman Natalie Minella was named to the All-Patriot League Women's Rowing Team on Wednesday. Minella was a Second Team honoree, helping the Bison to a fourth-place finish in the team standings at last week's Patriot League Championship.

The All-League teams are based on the teams' finishes in the Varsity Eight from the Patriot League Rowing Championships.

Minella was a member of the second varsity eight that won in its heat and earned the silver medal in the grand final. The rookie was the coxswain of the boat.

It is the second straight year that a freshman has landed a spot on the All-Patriot League Team. Sophomore Menley Denham received all-league honors last season.

Boston University, which finished as the overall runner-up, placed a league high seven on All-Patriot League Teams, while earning Patriot League Boat of the Year recognition. Holly Metcalf of MIT was named Coach of the Year.
