LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell sophomore Logan Schofield has been keeping his skills sharp this summer, training with the USA Water Polo Junior National Team in Long Beach, California.

“The opportunity to train with the USA Junior National Team is something that has always been a goal of mine since I first started playing the sport,” said Schofield. “There is no better way to prepare for a college water polo season than to play with and against the best in the country. The practice schedule is demanding and difficult but the experience gained is very valuable and something that not many get to obtain.”

Schofield helped the team to a fifth-place finish at the USA National League Championship at William Woollett Aquatic Center, contributing two goals and one assist.

Schofield is coming off a strong rookie campaign with the Bison in 2016. He saw action in 17 games, recording 15 goals, one assist, three steals and nine ejections drawn.
