COLUMBUS, Ohio – Chadd Cummings, Charlie McFarland and Maggie Wyngowski represented Bucknell at the USA Swimming Winter National Championships, held Wednesday through Saturday at Ohio State's McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

Wyngowski's performance in the 400 IM was the highlight of the prestigious meet, which featured over 400 student-athletes from 20 universities and multiple club teams. The freshman, who entered the meet with Bucknell's fourth-fastest time (4:23.00), touched the wall in 4:19.84, .03 of a second faster than the school record set in 2013 by Stephanie Koziol.

The full team returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 13 by taking on Army West Point and Boston College in West Point, N.Y. The next day, Bucknell is slated to host the James Madison women and Columbia men at 1 p.m.
