LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell head women’s soccer coach Kelly Cook has announced that six promising student-athletes have signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Patriot League-champion Bison squad in the fall of 2018. The recruiting class features six highly regarded players from six different states.
The incoming class features three defenders in Holly Burns, Alana Carlucci and Claire Mensi, two forwards in Kate Henesey and Emilene Parham, and goalkeeper Raegan Dunwoodie.
“I am really looking forward to welcoming these six additions to our program,” said Cook. “Overall, this class possesses tremendous athletic ability and a tireless work rate. They are all extremely dedicated both on the field and academically, and they will all make a positive contribution to the Bucknell community.”
This group joins a Bucknell program that has captured each of the last two Patriot League championships and has gone to two straight NCAA Tournaments. The Bison finished 12-9 overall and 7-2 in conference play last fall. Graduating are seven seniors who comprised the most successful class in program history, compiling a school-record 49 wins along with the two league titles.
