Full name is Joseph Victor Willman ... born Aug. 5, 1991 in Martinez, Calif. ... son of Robert and Peg Willman ... has four sisters, Megan, Mary, Therese and Annie-Rose ... father played basketball at Maritime College and mother was a swimmer at Adelphi ... four-year letterman and the all-time leading scorer and rebounder at Monmouth Regional High School in Tinton Falls, N.J. ... named team MVP as a junior and senior ... first team All-Shore Conference as a senior ... third team all-state and second team all-conference as a junior ... helped lead team to a Group III sectional title as a sophomore and division tities as a junior and senior ... team was 1-19 his freshman year, then 19-7 and sectional champs his sophomore season ... was having a big senior year until he suffered two broken wrists in a fall after a dunk late in January ... was averaging about 21 points, 13 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists per game prior to the injury ... was leading the Shore Area in rebounding and was top 10 in points and steals ... despite the injury earned the James J. and Margaret M.
