Women's Tennis Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Features Eight Bison

LEWISBURG, Pa.  – Eight members of the Bucknell women’s tennis team were recognized for their stellar academic performance during the 2014 campaign on Wednesday, each earning a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Both of the team’s graduating seniors were honored, including four-time selection Elizabeth Morgan, as was Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Academic All-Patriot League selection Maria Cioffi.

This year’s honor roll is comprised of 57 student-athletes representing the league’s nine women’s tennis programs. Holy Cross led the way with its nine selections, followed by Bucknell (8), Lafayette (8), Loyola (8), Lehigh (7), Navy (6), Colgate (5), Army (3) and Boston University (3).

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League’s winter or spring championship sports.
