LEWISBURG, Pa.  – The Bucknell men’s track and field team finished in second place at both the indoor and outdoor conference championship meets during the 2014 campaign, but the team’s success extended into the classroom as well. On Wednesday, the Patriot League released its men’s track and field Academic Honor Roll, and in a testament to the Bison’s strong academic performance, 34 members of the squad received spots on the list. Additionally, Scott Weismiller became one of 17 student-athletes to earn a selection to the honor roll for each of his four collegiate seasons.

This year’s honor roll is comprised of 219 student-athletes representing the league’s nine men’s track and field programs. Lehigh led the way with its 35 selections, followed by Army (34), Bucknell (34), Boston University (27), Navy (23), Lafayette (21), Holy Cross (20), Colgate (15) and American (10).

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League’s winter or spring championship sports.
