Five Men's Tennis Players Named ITA Scholar-Athletes
Release:   07/11/2014

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its academic awards this week and the Bucknell men’s tennis team was recognized on many levels. Five Bison – Bryan Adams, Scott Bernstein, Jordan Lieb, Aidan Lynch and Kyle Rosen – were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, while Bucknell was one of 80 Division I programs cited with a cumulative grade-point average of above 3.20 for 2013-14.

The Bison were the only Patriot League squad to be recognized in the team listing.

Each of Bucknell’s five individual honorees was also recently named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a player must be a letterwinner, have a grade-point average of above 3.50 for the 2013-14 academic year and be enrolled at his current school for at least two semesters.
