WORCESTER, Mass. – Mandy Sifferlen, the Patriot League leader in kills, carried Holy Cross to a 3-0 win over Bucknell in a Patriot League volleyball match Friday night at the Hart Center. She tallied 25 kills while leading the Crusaders to a victory by scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-20.

Holy Cross improved to 9-19 overall and 5-10 in the Patriot League, while Bucknell dropped to 5-22 overall and 3-12 in the conference.

Senior Jordan Walker led Bucknell with seven kills and eight digs, while freshman Sophie Bullard tallied six kills and six digs. Junior Luz Nagle had a team-high 13 assists.

Sifferlen’s 25 kills came on 53 attacks for a .358 hitting percentage. Lizzie Webb led all players with 37 assists, while Alessandra Vasquez tallied a match-high 18 digs.

Bucknell closes the season at Army West Point on Saturday. The match is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Gillis Field House.

Bucknell will look to play postseason spoiler in the match as Army West Point is one of three teams vying for the final two spots in the Patriot League Tournament. The Bison already handed one of the other teams in contention, Lehigh, a loss in recent weeks.
