ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Bucknell’s 800 free relay team had a sixth-place finish to lead the Bison on the second day of the ECAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday at Navy’s Lejeune Hall.
Will Kinsella, Jack Rogers, Quinn Egan, and Sam Rutan made up the Bison’s sixth-place 800 relay team, while Jimmy Rush, Chadd Cummings, Kyle Bloom, and Charlie McFarland teamed up for an eighth-place showing in the 200 medley relay.
Individually, Rutan had a 14th-place finish in the 200 free, where he was followed two spots later by teammate Vince Filippini in 16th.
Also taking 14th was Rush in the 100 back. Cummings was 16th in the 100 breast.
Navy leads the team standings with 365 points, while Rider (262 points), and UMBC (239) round out the top three. Bucknell is 11th in the 20-team field with 97 points.
The ECAC Championships wrap up on Sunday, beginning with the prelims at 9 a.m.
