ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Bucknell women’s water polo team opened up day two of the Wolverine Invite with a 10-7 loss to No. 13 UC Davis at Canham Natatorium.
Bucknell (7-7) split its first two matches at Michigan on Saturday, defeating Santa Clara before falling to No. 6 UC Irvine.
Emily Konishi finished with three goals, while Colleen Barron recorded two. Marta Considine handed out two assists in the loss.
UC Davis scored the game’s first three goals and held a 5-2 advantage after one quarter and led 6-4 at halftime.
The Bison got within one score in the third period, 7-6, but the Aggies pulled away, scoring three consecutive goals.
Manuela Herrera made the start in cage, posting five saves.
Bucknell concludes play at the Wolverine Invite with a match against No. 5 Arizona State at 3 p.m.
