LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell rising senior Chris Devlin has been named a Scholar All-America Honorable Mention by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). Devlin earned the honor for the first time in his illustrious career.

To receive Honorable Mention status, a student-athlete must have achieved a GPA of 3.50 and met a "B" time standard or competed at a regional or zone qualifying meet.

Devlin achieved “B” standard times in the 100 back, 200 back, and 200 IM. He capped his junior season by earning his second straight Swimmer of the Meet Award at the Patriot League Championships, winning league titles in the 100 back and 200 back. He added a third-place finish in the 200 IM and led all swimmers at the meet with 56 points.

An economics major, Devlin posted a 3.58 GPA during the spring semester. He is a two-time Academic All-Patriot League selection and a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. He will be a team captain for the 2017-18 season.

Devlin enters his senior season with five Patriot League titles in individual events. That total is tied for the 10th most in program history.
