LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell women's soccer graduate Cora Climo ‘17 is a finalist for the Patriot League's Top Play of the Year Challenge. Voting opened on June 22 and will remain open through midnight on Sunday, June 25.

The contest featured top plays from the Patriot League Network's weekly “Top Three Plays” segments throughout the 2016-17 campaign. All top plays were placed at random into a bracket of 16 with fan voting being conducted via the Patriot League Network's official Twitter account - @PatriotLeagueTV.

Climo, the No. 1 seed in the Top Play Challenge, scored the ultimate golden goal, leading Bucknell to a 2-1 victory over Boston University in the Patriot League Championship game. The dramatic goal delivered the third conference championship in program history and sent the Bison into the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005.

The 2016 Patriot League Tournament MVP, Climo is up against No. 11 seed Ricky Brown of Colgate, who made a diving stop in penalty kicks to secure a men's soccer championship for the Raiders.

The winner of the contest will have their play featured in the intro of the Patriot League Network's weekly show, Top Three Plays of the Week, this upcoming academic year.

The champion will be announced on Monday, June 26.
