LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell senior Kyle Adams was named to the Men’s Cross Country Academic All-Patriot League Team, which was released by the conference office on Friday. He earns the award for the first time in cross country and the third time in his career for both cross country and track and field.

Adams has been perfect in the classroom at Bucknell, earning a 4.0 GPA as an economics major through his first three years at the school. He was voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team last season and has only bolstered his efforts to receive the same honor or better at the end of his senior season.

Adams has proven to be one of the most improved runners for the Bison over his four years with the team. He cracked the postseason lineup this season and then finished 54th out of 108 runners at the championship meet. Earlier this season, he finished second out of 57 runners at the Bison Open, crossing the line with a near identical time as the race winner.

Bucknell and Adams are set to compete at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships, to be hosted by Lehigh on Friday Nov. 10.
