LEWISBURG, Pa. – A trio of Bison reached the 'A' finals on the final day of the Bucknell Invitational at Kinney Natatorium.

Chadd Cummings raced to a fourth-place finish in the 200 breaststroke, clocking in at 2:04.69. He was the second Bison to crack the top five in an individual event at the invitational, which ran Friday through Sunday.

Garrett Sommer (7th, 3-meter dive) and Mitch Gavars (8th, 1,650 freestyle) were the other Bison to reach the 'A' finals on Sunday.

The Bucknell men's swimming & diving team ultimately finished seventh with 625.5 points. Defending champion Towson won the team title, totaling 1,321 points. Georgetown (1,214.5) and La Salle (1,083.5) rounded out the top three.

Next up, a handful of Bison swimmers will compete at the USA Swimming Winter Nationals in Columbus, Ohio from Thursday, Nov. 30 to Saturday, Dec. 2. The full team will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 13 by taking on Army West Point and Boston College in West Point, N.Y. The next day, Bucknell will host Columbia at 1 p.m.
