LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women’s cross country team placed a league-high 22 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, which was released by the conference office on Tuesday. The Bison had four student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall semester.

Christine Bendzinski, who was named Patriot League Women’s Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year after the season, was one of the Bison runners to earn a 4.0 GPA. She was joined by teammates Mikayla Cochrane, Emma Cousins, and Tabitha Wismer.

To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League’s seven fall championship sports.
