LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Sixteen Bucknell men's soccer student-athletes earned a spot on the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, which was announced Thursday by the league office. In order to qualify for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must achieve at least a 3.20 grade-point average during the semester in which his/her sport conducts its championship.

Bucknell's 16 selections were third-most in the league. Of those 16 honorees, 12 also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of at least 3.50. Headlining the list is sophomore midfielder Nick King, a biomedical engineering major who earned a perfect 4.0.

All three of Bucknell's All-Patriot League selections -- King, Tyler Peterson and Matt Thorsheim -- made the Honor Roll. King was also an Academic All-Patriot League pick this fall as the second-leading scorer on a team that finished 5-3-1 in PL play and finished in third place in the league standings.
