LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell field hockey team placed 18 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, which was released by the conference office on Wednesday. The Bison’s 18 honorees were the second most in the league. They continued to be one of the top performing teams one year after leading the conference with 20 honorees.
Junior Nicole Rupnik and sophomore Marisa Morakis were two of the eight players in the league to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall semester. Both players were voted to the Academic All-Patriot League Team following the season.
To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League’s seven fall championship sports.
