PRINCETON, N.J. – Bucknell men’s track and field added three All-East honors (two individual and one relay) on the final day of the IC4A Championships on Saturday at Princeton’s Weaver Stadium.

Bucknell was 20th overall, but had the third most points out of the six Patriot League teams that scored at the event. Navy took the team title, while Army West Point was 11th. Other league teams that competed at the event and finished behind the Bison were Boston University, Lafayette, and Lehigh.

Reggie Harris had the top finish of the day for the Bison and did so with a personal-best performance while taking fifth in the triple jump. The junior had a top leap of 47-8 ½, good enough for sixth in program history. It beat his previous career-best distance by two inches.

Competing in his final IC4A Championships, senior Nicholas Lombardo took sixth in the high jump. He cleared 6-7 ½.

Rounding out Bucknell’s All-East honorees was the 4x800 relay team of Sean Conway, Nick Pacelli, Owen Concaugh, and Scott Gulizio. The group clocked in at 7:37.91.

“Getting two more All-East individuals in Harris and Lombardo plus the 4x800 relay made for a solid day,” Bucknell head coach Kevin Donner said. “We have a young team and brought 22 men to this meet, and all but Lombardo are back. The future looks very bright.”

The Bison will send qualified athletes to the NCAA East Preliminary Meet in Tampa on May 24-26.
