LEWISURG, Pa. – Olivia Harris, a rising junior on the Bucknell field hockey team, has been named to the 2018-19 Senior U.S. Women’s National Indoor Team. She was one of three players added to the squad after recently attending an indoor camp held at The Training Center in Spring City, Pennsylvania, and joins Bucknell assistant coach Sam Carlino on the roster.
Harris has previous experience with USA Field Hockey. Prior to arriving in Lewisburg in 2016, she was a two-time selection as a goalkeeper for Team USA at the Nationals Future Championships, playing U16 in 2013 and U19 in 2014.
In her two seasons with the Bison, Harris is a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and a two-time member of the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
The Senior Indoor USWNT will have six training weekends through the summer and fall, and will travel to Europe over the New Year to compete in an international tournament.
Joining Harris as additions to the Indoor USWNT were Lafayette’s Theresa Delahanty and Appalachian State’s Rachel Gaines.
