LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bucknell's Aidan Krombolz and Evan Minor will represent the men's track and field team at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships at Indiana University's Hayes Track. Krombolz will compete in the javelin on Friday at 5:30 p.m., while Minor will run in the 10k on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Krombolz, a freshman, recently competed at the NCAA East Preliminary Round, where he finished 33rd. Prior to that, he placed eighth at the IC4A Championships and sixth at the Patriot League Championships. Krombolz's rookie season also includes a title at the Virginia Quad and a runner-up finish at the Bucknell Team Challenge.
Minor last competed at Bloomsburg's Maroon and Gold Invitational, where he took second in the 5k. He ran the 10k once this season, finishing 27th at the highly-competitive Bison Outdoor Classic.
The top two finishers in each event qualify for the U20 World Championships in Finland. That event will be held in July.
