BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Bucknell's Aidan Krombolz finished seventh in the javelin Friday at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships at Indiana University's Hayes Track. 

Krombolz, a freshman, had a top throw of 193-0 on his fifth attempt. He finished one sport behind Auburn's Erik Ebel and one spot ahead of Providence's Christopher Shanahan.

"Aidan finished up a very good freshman year with a solid seventh-place finish today," Bucknell head coach Kevin Donner said. "He had a big third throw that got him in the final and his fourth and fifth were very good. This experience will help him tremendously in the future."

Wichita State's Taran Taylor won the javelin with a throw of 233-2, while Tzuriel Pedigo was the runner-up with a throw of 231-3.

Bucknell still has one athlete left to compete at the event  Evan Minor will run in the 10k on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
