BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Evan Minor wrapped up Bucknell's competition at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships with a seventh-place finish in the 10k Saturday at Indiana University's Hayes Track.

"It was a rough race for Evan. The small field pulled away early and left him by himself," Bucknell head coach Kevin Donner said. "This race, however, does not define the solid season that he had, and to make this championship meet is a huge honor. The experience will kickstart his career."

The race was won by Rice's Hociel Landa, while Michigan's John Aho finished as the runner-up. Those two will represent Team USA at the World Junior Outdoor Championships.
