LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women’s basketball team placed 11 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, marking the second straight year the team has had double-digit honorees. That ties for the most honorees in head coach Aaron Roussell’s six seasons with the team.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Of the 11 honorees for Bucknell, eight had a GPA of at least 3.50. Rising sophomore Abby Kapp led the way with a 3.91 GPA, while recent graduate Catherine Romaine and rising sophomore Autumn Ceppi were right behind her with a 3.83. Joining the pair with at least a 3.50 GPA during the spring semester were Gia Hayes, MK Moore, Kate Walker, Maegan Mikkelsen, and Carly Richardson.
Romaine earned a spot on the PL Academic Honor Roll for the fourth straight year. She capped her collegiate career with a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League Team back in March.
