LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell’s Daniel Wright added one more honor to his prolific men’s tennis career Wednesday as he was voted to the Academic All-Patriot League Team for a third consecutive season.
Wright is the first Bucknell men’s tennis player to earn three Academic All-Patriot League honors. Only one other former Bison player, Evan Zimmer, earned the award twice.
In addition to his three academic accolades, Wright is a three-time All-Patriot League honoree, including First Team status in each of the past two seasons. He ranks third in program history in singles wins (72-63), fifth in doubles wins (73-61), and fifth in combined victories (145-124).
Wright, a double major in economics and political science with a 3.65 GPA, is a three-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and a three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete. He is also a member of the Bucknell Athletics Leaderships Institute.
