APALACHIN, N.Y. -- Freshman Peter Bradbeer carded a 1-under-par 71 on the heels of his first-round 68, giving him a T-6th finish and helping the Bucknell men's golf team to a 291 team score on Monday in the final round of the Matthews Auto Collegiate Intercollegiate at The Links at Hiawatha Landing. The Bison finished with an even-par 576 total over 36 holes, but that was only good for ninth place in the 16-team field as scores were low all week.

Bradbeer now has two top-10 finishes in the first three appearances of his career. His 5-under 139 was four shots off the pace set by Lehigh's Owen Quinn, who posted rounds of 69-66 on the par-72 track. Twenty-seven players in the field finished under par.

Bison sophomore J.P. Raftery was another of those in red numbers. He followed his opening-round 69 with a 73 on Monday to finish T-16th with a 2-under 142. In 10 rounds this fall, Raftery is a combined 5-over par and is averaging a team-best 71.8 strokes per round.

Sophomore Ashton Radvansky posted an even-par 72 on Monday after posting 75 in the first round. Sophomore Jubal Early followed a 73 with a 75, while senior John Edler closed with a 76. Junior C.J. Zachary, playing as an individual, finished with a 78.

It was quite a race for the team title. St. Bonaventure compiled a 10-under 278 in the final round to catch first-round leader Drexel. The Bonnies and Dragons both finished at 565 total, and St. Bonaventure was awarded the championship on fifth-man score. Delaware was just one shot back in third place, followed by Binghamton (-8), Towson (-7), Lafayette (-6), Siena (-4), Lehigh (-2) and Bucknell (E).

Bucknell will be back in action Oct. 10-11 at the Donald Ross Invitational at Mimosa Hills GC in Morganton, N.C.
