LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell men's swimming and diving placed nine student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as released by the league office on Monday. The Bison were led by four-time honorees Louis Behnen and Jack Robinson.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Sam Rutan, a chemical engineering major, led the Bison with a 3.85 GPA. He was one of four Bison swimmers to earn at least a 3.50 GPA.
At the end of the season, Behnen and Robinson were joined on the Academic All-Patriot League Team by Chris Devlin. Bucknell's three honorees led the conference.
