FLOSSMOOR, Ill. -- Senior Lindsay Dodovich carded a 77 and junior Katie Childers added a 79 to help the Bucknell women's golf team to a 320 team score Tuesday in the final round of the Loyola Chicago Fall Invitational. The Bison improved in every round of the 54-hole event and moved up to a seventh-place finish in a field of 11 teams.

Dodovich, a Chicago native and a former Illinois state tournament qualifier at Trinity High School, finished at 237 (81-79-77) over 54 holes and finished in 12th place in a field of 68 players. 

Childers posted her second consecutive 79 after opening with an 84, and she finished T-21st at 242. Sophomore Meredith Langs posted an 80, her best score of the week, and freshman Erin Holmes turned in the team's fourth score with an 84, also her best of the tournament. Freshman Casey Morrow finished with an 88. 

Sophomore Anna Dailey had a good showing playing as an individual. She closed with an 83 for a 248 total, second-best among the 13 unattached players. 

Host Loyola fought off a charge from Butler and won the team title by three shots over the Bulldogs. Loyola finished with a 934 total, followed by Butler (937), Montana (944), IUPUI (948), Creighton (966), Illinois-Chicago (969), Bucknell (976), Omaha (982), Valparaiso (983), Green Bay (984) and Chicago State (1102). 

Aneta Abrahamova of IUPUI finished with an even-par 72 to win medalist honors by five shots over Loyola's Elayna Bower and Montana's Baylee Barckley. 

The Bison will be right back in action this weekend at Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational.
