HAMILTON, N.Y. -- J.P. Raftery is 2-over par through 36 holes after posting rounds of 74-72 on Saturday to lead Bucknell as play got underway at Colgate's Alex Lagowitz Memorial Classic at Seven Oaks Golf Club. Raftery sits in seventh place with one round to go on Sunday. Bucknell is eighth among 13 teams with rounds of 308-303.

Raftery, who was runner-up at the 2016 Patriot League Championship, collected three birdies and three bogeys in his even-par second round. He was 2-under on the opening nine and sits five shots behind individual leader Nicolas Osorio of Fairleigh Dickinson (68-73).

Another bright spot for the Bison is freshman Peter Bradbeer, who made his collegiate debut with a 76 and then followed it up with a 1-under 71 in the afternoon. Bradbeer, who is playing as an individual, is tied for eighth place. In the second round he made nine straight pars going out, then had three birdies against two bogeys on the back.

Elsewhere in the Bison starting five, Connor O'Brien shot 78-75, D.J. Magee posted 77-78, Jubal Early had 79-82 and John Edler shot 82-78. 

Delaware carded team scores of 285-294 to grab a nine-stroke lead over Cornell. St. John's, Army West Point and FDU round out the top five.
