MALVERN, Pa. -- Freshman Peter Bradbeer fired a 2-under-par 69 to lead the Bucknell men's golf team to a 293 team score in the second and final round of the Wildcat Invitational on Tuesday at White Manor CC. The Bison chopped 11 strokes off their first round score and moved up two spots to a T-13th finish.

After shooting 76 in Monday's opening round, Bradbeer was nearly flawless in round two. He birdied holes 6, 14 and 16, with his only blemish a bogey at the par-4 13th. Bradbeer just missed his collegiate low round, a 4-under 68 at the Mathews Auto Collegiate Invitational in the fall.

The Bison also received a 1-over 72 from Connor O'Brien, followed by a pair of 76s from D.J. Magee and John Edler. O'Brien had three bogeys, two birdies and 13 pars in his second round.

Bradbeer's 36-hole total of 145 put him in a tie for 21st individually.

Fourteen of the 19 teams in the field broke 300 on Tuesday, led by a 281 from St. John's, which moved up six places into a tie for fourth with host Villanova. Lehigh closed with a 284 to win the tournament by two strokes over Cleveland State and by three over first-round leader Delaware.

Cleveland State's Patrick Luth, Lehigh's Johnny Hsu, and Villanova's Connor Daly all finished at 3-under 139 to share medalist honors.

The Bison will be back in action Apr. 1-2 at the Manor Intercollegiate.
