>> Most recently, the Bison competed at another one-day, 36-hole event, as they finished in ninth place at the Finegan Invitational, hosted by La Salle. The Bison opened with a 302, but shot 317 in the final 18 holes to finish ninth.
>> J.P. Raftery made his spring debut at the Finegan Invitational, opening with a 3-over-par 75 and concluding the event with a 78 in the final 18 holes. In the fall season, Raftery set a Bucknell record with a 72.3 scoring average.
>> Peter Bradbeer has been the low Bison in two of the past three tournaments. He finished T-21st at the Wildcat Invitational and T-16th at the Longwood/Manor Intercollegiate before posting a score of 163 at the Finegan Invitational. His 76.6 spring average is second on the team to O'Brien's 75.9.
Bucknell at Yale Spring Invitational
>> This will be Bucknell's second appearance in the event. Last season, the Bison picked up their second team title of the season by coming in first out of 12 teams. Bucknell posted a 36-hole score of 595, led by a runner-up finish from Edler.
>> Edler shot a 71 and a 75, and his total of 146 was three shots back of the tournament’s leader. All five Bison golfers shot 76 or better in round one. O’Brien finished T-9th with a score of 149, and he was followed by Early (150), Daniel Levin (150), and Raftery (153).
>> Bucknell will compete at the Navy Invitational next weekend before hosting the Patriot League Championship on April 29-30.
