EASTON, Pa. -- Bucknell women's basketball made double-digit 3-pointers against Lafayette for the second time this season while rolling to an 80-57 win over the Leopards in a Patriot League matchup Saturday at the Kirby Sports Center. The Bison won for the fourth straight game to improve to 14-8 overall and 8-3 in the conference.

Kate Walker shot 5-of-6 from beyond the arc and tallied a game-high 21 points to lead Bucknell in scoring for a sixth consecutive game. She scored 13 points in the final 3:31 of the third quarter alone. She had the strong second half after Kyi English did the damage in the first. English scored nine of her 12 points in the first two quarters.

It was a team effort for the Bison as all 13 players scored in the contest. Abby Kapp finished with seven points, while Catherine Romaine, Kaitlyn Slagus, and Rachel Dumiak scored six apiece. The Bison went 10-of-22 from long range, and that was a collaborative effort, as well. In addition to Walker's five treys, English, Dumiak, Tessa Brugler, Ally Johnson, and Kapp had one apiece.

The Bison led 43-23 at the break and have now outscored their opponents by 82 points in the first half this season. The large lead was due in large part to committing just four turnovers.

In an 83-53 win over the Leopards earlier this season, the Bison set the school's single-game record with 14 3-pointers. The previous record was 12 and was accomplished five times, the most recent of which was also against Lafayette last season.

Alexis Santarelli scored a career-high 17 points for Lafayette, which dropped to 8-13 overall and 4-7 in the conference. Natalie Kucowski went for 16 points and six rebounds.

Bucknell turned 15 Lafayette turnovers into 23 points. The Bison also received a big boost from its bench with 29 points.

The Bison are at Sojka Pavilion on Wednesday when they host Lehigh at 6 p.m. The Mountain Hawks are fourth in the Patriot League standings at 13-9 overall and
