ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Bucknell men's golf team closed out the Cornell Invitational with a team score of 317 on Sunday at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, slipping the Bison into a 12th-place finish. Freshman Connor O'Brien posted a final-round 76, giving him his third straight top-20 finish to start the season. 

After posting 300-298 on Saturday, the Bison managed only two scores in the 70s in the final round. D.J. Magee's 75 was Bucknell's low round of the day. O'Brien was 3-over coming into the final round, and his 8-over 221 put him in a tie for 18th place. 

Elsewhere for Bucknell, Zachary Melnick closed with an 82, J.P. Raftery shot 84 and C.J. Zachary 87. 

Princeton compiled a 6-over 858 over 54 holes and won the team title by 16 shots over runner-up Towson. Princeton's Quinn Prchal closed with back-to-back 68s and finished at 5-under 208. Jimmy Grem of Towson was second at 2-under.

The Bison will be back in action next Friday and Saturday at the Columbia Invitational.
